Elections are a function of the Reno County. The County Clerk serves as the Elections Officer in Reno County and is responsible for all aspects of elections in the county. The City Clerk is the locally designated official that can provide information on registering to vote, polling places and running for office. City and School elections are generally held in the spring of odd numbered years. Recent changes by the Kansas State Legislature will move elections to the fall of odd numbered years. These change will take effect in 2017. Federal and State elections occur in the fall of even numbered years.
